React & Next.js Development

React and Next.js Apps Built to Scale.

We build web applications in React and Next.js: multi-tenant SaaS platforms, internal tools, and dashboards with real accounts, real billing, and a codebase your team can keep working in.

Why React & Next.js

Why React.

React is one of the most widely used libraries for interactive web interfaces, which means a deep hiring pool, mature tooling, and well-tested answers to common problems. Next.js adds routing, server rendering, and API routes on top, so one framework covers the front end and a good share of the back end.

The Next.js App Router lets each part of a page run where it makes sense. Data-heavy views render on the server close to the database, and interactive pieces hydrate on the client. Pages load quickly without giving up the app-like feel.

TypeScript end to end, a typed data layer, accessible component primitives, and a clear split between UI, business logic, and data access. End-to-end tests, error monitoring, and CI on GitHub Actions are in place from the first sprint, not added before launch.

Capabilities

What We Build With React.

  1. Multi-Tenant SaaS Platforms

Next.js platforms where each customer organization gets its own workspace, users, and data.

Tenant isolation is decided in the data model, not bolted on later. We design the schema, row-level access rules, and role model first, then build the product on top so every query respects the boundary.

    • Organization workspaces with roles and invitations
    • Tenant-scoped data with row-level security in PostgreSQL
    • Subscription billing with Stripe or Lemon Squeezy
  2. Web Applications & Internal Tools

Operational software for your team: dashboards, admin panels, and workflow tools.

Internal tools carry the work that keeps an organization running, so they deserve the same engineering as customer-facing products. We build them with proper auth, audit trails, and interfaces people can use without a manual.

    • Admin panels and operational dashboards
    • Forms, approvals, and multi-step workflows
    • Accessible components built on Radix UI and shadcn/ui
  3. AI Features in Web Apps

LLM-backed features built into the product, with the guardrails a production app needs.

We wire models like Claude and Gemini into real workflows: drafting, summarizing, classifying, and analyzing data your users already have. Long-running calls move to background jobs so the interface stays responsive.

    • Claude and Gemini API integrations
    • Background jobs and queues for long-running work
    • Usage tracking, rate limits, and cost controls
  4. Full-Stack TypeScript

One language from the database schema to the button, with types checked at every boundary.

A typed ORM, typed API calls, and shared types between front end and back end catch whole classes of bugs before they ship. We use Drizzle ORM, tRPC, or Next.js server actions depending on the shape of the app.

    • Drizzle ORM schemas and migrations on PostgreSQL
    • tRPC or server actions for typed client-server calls
    • Node workers with BullMQ and Redis for background processing
  5. Takeovers & Upgrades

An existing React or Next.js codebase that needs a team: upgrades, cleanup, and a release process.

We audit the code, dependencies, and deployment setup, then give you a prioritized plan. Common work includes Pages Router to App Router migrations, React version upgrades, adding tests, and moving to a monorepo when several apps share code.

    • Codebase, dependency, and performance audit
    • Next.js and React version upgrades
    • Playwright tests, Sentry monitoring, and CI pipelines

Right Fit

When React & Next.js Is the Right Call.

We'll tell you if another approach fits better. Picking the wrong platform costs more than any build.

A strong fit when

  • You're building a SaaS product or web app with accounts, roles, and billing
  • Your interface is highly interactive: dashboards, editors, or multi-step workflows
  • You want a stack with a large hiring pool so your team can take it over later
  • You have an existing React codebase that needs upgrades, tests, or a steady team

Worth a second look when

  • A mostly static marketing site or content site doesn't need React. Astro ships less JavaScript and is simpler to run
  • If the product is mainly a mobile app, Flutter may be the better primary platform, with a web dashboard alongside

Process

How an Engagement Runs.

Scope, architect, build, ship. The same four phases on every project, so you always know what happens next.

  1. Scope

    Week 1

Audit what exists and define what needs to be built.

    More

If you have a prototype, we assess it. If you're starting from requirements, we map the architecture. You leave with a scoped plan, milestones, and a timeline.

  2. Architect

    Week 2

Architecture, stack decisions, and a delivery roadmap.

    More

Infrastructure, data model, API structure, and deployment strategy are settled before production code is written. No building without a blueprint.

  3. Build

    Weeks 3–8

AI-accelerated development with something to review every week.

    More

Production code, not throwaway prototypes. AI runs through our whole development process to compress the timeline; review and testing keep the quality bar where it belongs.

  4. Ship & Support

    Week 8+

    Deployment, documentation, and handoff.

    More

We deploy to your infrastructure, document the system, and walk your team through it. Maintenance and iteration retainers are available if you want us to stay on.

FAQ

Common Questions.

  • How long does it take to build a React or Next.js app?

Most first releases follow our standard process: scoping in week one, architecture in week two, and production builds with something to review every week through weeks three to eight. Larger platforms are phased so a usable version ships first.

  • Do you use React or Next.js?

Usually Next.js, which is built on React. It handles routing, server rendering, and API routes, so it suits most SaaS products and web apps. For apps that run entirely in the browser behind a login, we sometimes use React with Vite and a separate API.

  • Can you build a multi-tenant SaaS platform?

Yes. We design tenant isolation into the database from the start, with organization workspaces, roles, row-level security, and subscription billing through Stripe or Lemon Squeezy.

  • Can you take over a React app another team built?

Yes. We start with an audit of the code, dependencies, and deployment setup, then give you a prioritized list of what to fix before adding features. That often includes upgrades, tests, and error monitoring.

  • Where do you host Next.js apps?

It depends on the app. Vercel is the simplest fit for many Next.js projects. Apps with long-running workers or queues often run on Render or in Docker containers. We set up CI on GitHub Actions either way, and the hosting accounts belong to you.

  • Where are you located?

Malvern, PA, near Philadelphia. We work with organizations across the U.S., and most engagements run remotely with weekly reviews.
